The type of opening varies with your taste, the room and its use.
In the basement, you could install a traditional or bellows window if possible or a fixed window. On the ground floor, there will be the dining room or could be a traditional window followed by a dining table corner or a sliding or sliding window would go well as well as towards the living room. Large windows would bring more light to the rooms and above all another design. Upstairs, the same concept is a traditional window, sliding window or sliding window. As written at the beginning everything will vary on your taste, the safety of your children and your talent as a designer.
- The casement window: The French or casement opening is the most common type of opening. Single, Double, triple or quadruple casement (or leaves), all the possibilities are offered by this type of window opening.
The sliding window: The sliding windows offer access to the outside and exceptional brightness. In the living room and in a renovation project, they often replace French windows, they respond to a functional choice. It requires little space when open. Please note, unlike a French window, only one leaf out of two cannot open. The width of the passage to the outside is therefore halved, on a sliding window with two leaves.
The fixed window: the fixed frame does not have an opening part and has the advantage of providing more light when replacing a striking window with a fixed window.
The hopper window: It is characterized by a partial opening of the oscillating / casement type and is activated by means of a handle on the upper face of the window. You will find the bellows window in the cellars and garages.
